By downloading, installing, or using Comic X: Webtoon & Manga Reader (“Comic X”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What Comic X is
Comic X is a software tool that helps you read local ebooks and comics, organize a library, and (when you choose) connect to services or sources you configure. Comic X does not sell copyrighted books or comics as a storefront.
2. Your responsibilities
- Only import, download, or open content you have the legal right to use.
- Comply with copyright and local laws when using remote sources, WebDAV, or shared links.
- You are responsible for book sources, scripts, or rules you import and run.
- Do not use Comic X to distribute malware, harass others, or violate platform policies.
3. Third-party content and services
Search results, websites, WebDAV hosts, and other third-party services are created or operated by others. Comic X does not control their availability, legality, accuracy, or safety. You use third-party content and services at your own risk.
4. No warranty
Comic X is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, perfect parsing of every file format, or that defects will be corrected.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comic X authors and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the app — including issues caused by third-party sites, user-imported scripts, or device storage failures.
6. Open-source licensing
Comic X is distributed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 as a derivative work of Legado. See the License page and in-app notices for details. These Terms do not reduce rights you already have under GPL-3.0.
7. Updates and termination
We may update the app or these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. You may stop using Comic X at any time by uninstalling it.
